The success obtained thanks to the dependability shown in the field by our large sheet cutting and handling systems, has spurred Bavelloni to overhaul its range of lines for lastre in cassa and to unveil the new line to its customers. This line does not have a specific name simply because, by being able to combine its elements in myriad ways, you can create a vast array of combinations.
The basic line consists of 3 elements:

Each element, equipped with its own electrical cabinet and relative control panel, can also be purchased separately and integrated with your existing cutting systems.
The care and attention devoted to planning and design can be seen in the fact that the total length of the system, including the safety barriers, is approximately 14 m: a clear sign that every detail, even the tiniest one, has been analysed and optimised. The intelligent loader detects the size of the sheet.
Glass sheet separation is done with maximum safety, which is ensured by the double movement of the loading arms: a rotating movement serves to detach the sheet, plus a translational movement that moves the sheet away. This system has been thoroughly tested on the jumbo lines and, in particular, on the lines used in processing 2.0 mm-thick jumbo sheets. A special system of sensors, controls the vacuum level of the suction cups instant by instant, so as to ensure that work is carried out with maximum safety: these sensors are automatically activated or disactivated depending on the size of the sheet.
Sheets are automatically
handled by means of 5 symmetrically positioned carrier belts that lift according to a pattern designed
to avoid opening the cuts. To make translation easier and avoid undue stress on the mechanical parts
and wear on the carpet, the work surface is equipped with an air cushion whose intensity is automatically
adjusted by the NC in relation to glass thickness (and, therefore, to the sheet's weight). The sheet
is centered automatically, in one of two ways (as selected by the machine operator): electronically,
using a laser probe; or mechanically, using centering devices. This offers double safety (no machine
stoppage in case of malfunction) and extra potential to meet different work demands (manual feed through free-fall).
