Maximum Working Area Dimensions: 4.5x2.5 m

The trend in the construction sector is clear: ever increasing dimensions for increasingly difficult applications and increasingly exclusive building aesthetics. This trend, though, comes up against the objective problems that glass makers face in supplying and delivering the final product (and especially so for jumbo glass sheets):

• difficult handling and moving
• storage
• high risks during processing
• problems transporting the final product to the construction site
• problems installing the product

The combination of these demands and the problems associated with them has resulted in the 4.5x2.5 m size being the most widely used in a range of different outdoor hanging glass applications (point anchors, articulated point anchors, integrated anchors, etc.)

A Human Scale: A More Convenient Work Surface Height

Another important factor, derived from different suggestions we received from our customers, is the machine's convenience and ease of use.

Given the large sizes involved, it is important to make the machine operator's ordinary operations easier: this is why the height of the work surface (as measured from the floor) is now only 50 cm. This makes it both easier and safer for the machine operator to climb onto the table whenever necessary. We should not forget that, thanks to the tool store being positioned on the side, both the front and back sides are completely free and unobstructed, making access easier.
