Edgetech appoints new Quality Engineer

Edgetech I.G. is proud to announce that Rob Miller has been promoted to quality engineer. Miller has been with Edgetech for six years, previously serving the company as technical service representative and product manager. As quality engineer, he will assist the director of quality and continuous improvement in the ongoing implementation of lean processes, Six Sigma and ISO 9001:2000.

“Rob brings a wealth of experience with our equipment and products, and he has a tremendous reputation for coordinating and resolving issues in the field,” said Michael Vachon, director of quality and continuous improvement for Edgetech. “He will be a great asset in helping us facilitate improvements within our company and for our customers.”

Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University. At Edgetech, he has extensive experience in product demonstrations, customer equipment installation and maintenance, customer training, customer production quality audits, equipment layout design and product testing. He has also helped the company drive sales of vinyl bending equipment and specialty grid placement products as product manager for the company’s Form8tor® vinyl profile bending system E-Z RAD™ muntin grid placement table. Prior to joining Edgetech, Miller worked in various industries including oil and gas, propane, and manufacturing, and he owned his owned fitness club.
