Johan T. Koudijs (1960) B.Sc. qualified as a general building engineer at the polytechnic school in Utrecht (NL) in 1986. For 10 years he worked as a consultant on façade-technology for two specialized companies. In 1996 he joined DGMR and became a partner in 2000. As division director he is responsible for the division fire safety engineering and for the division façade technology. As a consultant he was involved in major project throughout the Netherlands. Some of these project are: High rise office buildings in Rotterdam (140 – 160m), Extension of tradefair buildings for the ‘Verenigde Bloemenveilig Aalsmeer’ (250.000 m²), Masterplan for a city center for the city of Almere (Almere Hart), Extension of the ‘Peace palace’ in The Hague and the refurbishment of the ‘Rijkmuseum’ in Amsterdam and the Kröller Müller Museum in Otterlo.
