Mr. Jalkanen is the Product Group Manager of Glaston Services Ltd. Oy in Finland. He is responsible for advanced flat tempering lines and specializes in convection technology. Before joining Glaston in 1998, Mr. Jalkanen was involved over five years in the design, manufacture and construction of structural glass and facade systems in Europe, Middle- and Far East as a designer with Schüco International KG, Bielefeld Germany.

Currently for Glaston Mr. Jalkanen utilizes fully his know-how and expertise in his efforts to promote the use of safety glass by consulting new and existing companies worldwide. His expertise targets especially the new flat tempering solutions especially for Low-E glass and complex and demanding architectural applications.
