Tali Mejicovsky is a senior facade engineer with background skills in structural engineering. She has worked on a wide range and scale of projects with particular expertise in airports, museums, and glazed podia as well as specialized structures such as canopies and sculptures.
Tali has worked with Arup Façade Engineering for the past 8 years across Australasia and in America. Recently she led glass engineering out of the Arup San Francisco office and is now engineering facades with Arup in New York.
Tali’s experience ranges from the detailed design of glass, steel and aluminium to curtain wall systems and operable components. She has worked varied and complex projects, from concept through to site, and has dealt with many aspects of facades from structure and materials selection to waterproofing design.
Tali is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York and a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia.
Tali is a Professor in the Masters in Architecture program at Pratt Institute in New York where she teaches Integrated Building Systems. She has previously spoken at the American Institute of Architects National Convention on the topic of “Advances in Structural Glass Design” and at the US Architectural Engineering Institute Conference on the topic of “Achieving Innovation in Facades”.
