After graduation from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI, State University) in 1969, Mr. Maslov received Ph.D. degree in 1973. Since 1974 to 2000 he worked at the enterprises of optical industry. Since 2001 he has been working as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Semiconductor Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and as a Deputy Director of the Special Design and Technological Bureau with a Pilot Production of this Institute. Area of his scientific interests is the optical and glass engineering. He is a member of SPIE.
