Bruce Benda

Bruce Benda is the Chief Operating Officer for Exatec, LLC; a Wixom, Michigan based joint-venture-company of Bayer MaterialScience and General Electric. Mr. Benda is responsible for leading the technology development and prototyping teams.

Prior to joining Exatec, Mr. Benda was with Bayer MaterialScience in Pittsburgh, PA where he was the Director of Global Powder Coatings Intermediates Marketing and Resins Regional Product Management. He started his career with Bayer in the commercial development area of the coatings raw material business in Pittsburgh. He progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of technology / product development and promotion, large global account relationship management and global business management. His career path has brought him to Pittsburgh, PA; Detroit, MI; Minneapolis, MN and Leverkusen, Germany.

Mr. Benda is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
