Dr. Michael Emonds is a skilled specialist in preprocessing of glass. He has worked for Aachener Chemische Werke (ACW) since 1993. His knowledge comprises cutting fluids, coolants and interleavants as well as polishing agents, washing compounds and flocculants. He is responsible for the development of new products and for the organisation of customer workshops and educational lessons on glass pre-processing.
Dr. Emonds studied Chemistry at the Technical University (RWTH) of Aachen. In 1991 he obtained his Ph.D. from the RWTH in the field of bio-compatible polymers. In 1992 he joined a company for applying biological methods in industry where he was in charge of the analytical laboratory.
