Volker Kessler is Industry Manager of Exterior Body Panels and Glazing for GE Advanced Materials, Automotive. Based in Rüsselsheim, Germany. He plays a leading role in developing the market strategy for Automotive Body Panels and Glazing in Europe, conducting market/competitive analyses that drive business decisions to accelerate growth, and leading the development and execution of new “go-to-market” strategies, market and channel segmentation, as well as sales force deployment/incentives.

Mr. Kessler has been with the Marketing since 1998; between 1998 and 2004, he carried various roles, including Platform Leader for various OEM’s.
His career with GE Plastics spans 8-years. Volker Kessler began his carrier in 1984 as Application Development Engineer at a Automotive Tier1. In addition to that the carried various roles in non automotive plastics business including, development manager, marketing manager.

He holds a Degree in Plastics Engineering (1984) from university of applied sciences Darmstadt, Germany
