Dr.-Ing. Peter Hof, born 1968, received his civil engineering degree from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany in 1995. After being Project manager for structural engineering since 2000 he was an assistant researcher working with Prof. Dr.-Ing. J.-D. Wörner at Darmstadt University of Technology and received his Dr.-Ing. in 2005 dealing with the measurement of strain in glass with the digital image correlation method. Since 2005 he is with State Material Testing Institute Darmstadt, where he is occupied with researches and testing on the item glass.
