Frans van Herwijnen

Frans van Herwijnen is professor in structural design at the Department of Architecture, Building and Planning of the University of Technology in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
He is also senior partner and consulting engineer at ABT Consulting Engineers in Velp/Delft, Netherlands.
His field of research is in-plane loaded glass, integrated floor systems and flexibility of building structures.
At the moment he is guiding several graduate and PhD students researching in the field of structural glass.
