since 1991 Dr. Weigert spent most all of his time in the field of sputtering targets for different applications. Large Area Coating is a major field, where Leybold / Unaxis was and Heraeus today is the world market leader. Dr. Weigert has vast experience materials, coatings and processes and has intense connections in the industry. He holds several patents with regard to sputtering targets and published numerous articles in materials related magazines.
