Dr. Weis has been working for more than ten years in the field of sputter coating and optical characterization, with the focus on low-E and solar control coatings. He is working for INTERPANE R+D since 2002 and is responsible for the Coating Development Department since 2004. His main focus is the development and introduction of heat treatable as well as high-transmission coatings.
He earned his PHD in 2002 after 6 years workings in the Physics department at RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
