Thomas Noe

Glasstech

Thomas Noe currently serves as Director of Customer Service & Systems Engineering for Glasstech, Inc. a Perrysburg, Ohio glass engineering and equipment company where he has been employed since 1984. He has served in various capacities with Glasstech in the Technical, Field Operations and Customer Service areas.

He has travelled the world extensively with Glasstech and has played a part in the successful commissioning of nearly 200 bending and tempering systems to date. Prior to joining Glasstech, he was employed by another Northwest Ohio company, Martin Marietta Refractories (now Lockheed-Martin) in the product development and electrical maintenance departments. Thomas holds an Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Toledo where he graduated in 1981.

Noe has helped organize and chaired the GANA Glass Tempering Seminar since 1991 and is active on several GANA technical committees as well as in ASTM and ISO in the area of glass standards development.
