Author Introduction

Nelson Ng

Research fellow
The University of Sydney

Nelson Ng is the research fellow in the University of Sydney. He has worked in the investigation of thermal and optical stability of vacuum glazing for many years and plays a major role in the vacuum glazing research project in the university.

He has made a lot of significant contributions to the project such as inventions, modellings, patents, papers, conference presentations and seeking external funding. He has designed experiments and procedures for investigating the outgassing mechanisms of vacuum glazing. Some of the significant findings have been presented in international conferences and published in journals. These papers are world-first presentations which discuss the stability of vacuum glazing in the field of vacuum glazing technology.

Ng’s research experiences and achievement have been recognized by local and international professionals. His work has a significant impact on global energy conservation and understanding of various outgassing mechanisms of evacuated device.
