Ms. Karine Morcant is the head of the Lightweight Constructions Division at Centre Scientifique et Technique du Batiment, France. She has 12 years experience in facade and glazing field. She is responsible for the delivery of the French technical approvals and European technical agreements in the sector.
Morcant has published "Experimental investigation of time-dependent dry frictional behaviour of glass and aluminium" 2004 Wear 257 (271-278) and taken part in conferences as follows: Numerical solutions to unilateral frictional contact problems in glass facade systems - CIB -WBC 2004 (Toronto); Etude expérimentale des influences du trajet et de la durée de la pression normale sur le frottement sec entre le verre et l’aluminium Congrès Français de Mécanique 2003 (Nice).
