Gerard McCluskey

DMS Glass

Gerard McCluskey commenced working in the glass industry in 1974 for Yencken Sandy Glass Industries. He began employment on the factory floor, progressing into clerical and sales roles. From 1978-1986 he progressed through company filling various positions such as Branch Manager, State Construction Manager, State Sales Manager and overall State Manager. This business was sold in 1985 – hence the beginning of DMS Glass in January 1986. McCluskey was closely involved with the DMS team in the development of the business from the beginning, where the business was conceived as a glazing company to the architectural building industry in Melbourne, and now supplies glass throughout Australia and the Asian region.
