Alexander Chesnokov
Glass Research Institute
Alexander Chesnokov is the author of more than 30 standards of USSR, CIS, Russia concerning different types of glass products for building and technical purposes and more than 80 publications in the field of glass production, standardization, testing and numerical modeling.
He is the Chief of the Standardization and Testing Department, Head of the Testing and Certification Center Glass. He has been in this position since 1995. From 1977 he has worked in Glass Institute as a Senior Engineer and a Research Assistant.
In 2003 the institute was awarded Russian government award in the field of science and technology for the development of the new types of translucent constructions.
He is an author of more than 30 standards of USSR, CIS, Russia concerning different types of glass products for building and technical purposes and more than 80 publications in the field of glass production, standardization, testing and numerical modelling.
Chesnokov has recieved his education in Moscow Electronic Engineering Institute (Metrology, Graduated 1974), Moscow Electronic Engineering Institute (Applied Mathematics, Graduated 1979), Glass Research Institute (Post-graduate course, 1981), and Candidate of science degree in technical science (graduate 1984).
