Christian Louter received his building engineering degree in 2004 from Delft University of Technology. In February 2005 Christian started his Ph.D. research on ‘structural glass components’ at the faculty of Architecture. The aim is of this study is to develop structural glass components with safe failure behaviour. Currently this study is focused on the design and production of large span reinforced glass beams.
