Dr Leon Jacob is the principle of Jacob and Associates Pty Ltd. He is responsible for the design and consulting work carried out and his areas of activity include new design of curtain wall systems, preparation of specifications, structural glass system design, developing quality systems to satisfy the requirements of ISO 9002 for certification, and undertaking site inspections of glass for quality and compliance with specifications and suitability for application. He also conducts contract testing of glass, aluminium, sealants, adhesives, etc for strength, weathering and aging as well as compliance testing of IG Units to ASTM and BS standards and field water leakage testing as well as failure analysis for water leakage and investigation of glass fracture (including nickel sulphide failure analysis and identification).
