Dr. Andreas Wolf is a Scientist and New Opportunity Development Specialist for the Global Construction Industry at Dow Corning, Wiesbaden, Germany.

He has lectured intensively in Europe, North America and Asia and is the author of over 100 technical publications on the various aspects of sealant chemistry, durability, testing and applications. One of his areas of specialisation is the durability of insulating glass edge-seals.

He is chairman of the RILEM Committee TC190-SBJ 'Service-Life Prediction of Sealed Building and Construction Joints', leader of the Belgian Delegation to ISO TC59/SC8 (Jointing Products, Construction), and an active member of the American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM C-24 (Seals and Sealants) committee.

He holds a M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Frankfurt/Main and a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf, Germany.
