Barbara Siebert, born 1967, received her civil engineering degree from TU München. Her doctor’s thesis about the calculation of point helded glasses was accepted 2003.
After some years as employee in a consulting office, she is now working in the consulting engineers office Ingenieurbüro Dr. Siebert. Within this office the glass expert is responsible for the design and calculation of glass-steel constructions worldwide and consulting partner of an worldwide acting supplier for glass fittings. The main field of the office are steel constructions, glass constructions and rehabilitation of old buildings.
Member of BAYiKa-Bau (registered consulting engineer), sub-committee “point-fixings” DIN standard working group for “design of structural glass” DIN 18008
