Digital printing on glass: DIP Tech liberates designers and manufacturers from screens via digital technology

Wide-format digital printing with inkjet print heads is a technology that has been used for the past 20 years. However, ink-jet printing on glass is a new application of this digital printing
technology, as pioneered by companies such as DIP Tech.

Digital printing using non-organic ceramic ink on glass offers the first alternative to traditional screen printing. It eliminates screen printing’s inherent drawbacks while providing all the same
benefits and possibilities, such as use in tempering and lamination. Wideformat digital printing on glass is already being used for a variety of applications, including automotive and architectural design.
