Easy Printable Nano Coatings for Glass

A novel process to apply transparent coatings on glass will be presented. Functionalizing glass will no longer only rely on CVD- or PVD coated substrates. For example anti-reflective, partial reflective and partial absorbtive coatings with self-clean or anti-biotic properties could be applied by common screen- or roller printing process on glass. More flexibility will be realized in the customizing of glass: New designs, layouts and functionalities and a combination with traditional glass coatings will be possible.
