New Possibilities of Executions on the Last Generation NC Machines and Key Variables for the Production Cost Reduction

After a quick look at the types of NC machines used in the different flat glass processing sectors, the author focuses his attention on NC multifunctional working centers, as this is one of the most widely used types in the interior decorating sector. In particular, the author analyzes the technological innovations made in recent years and looks at how they, together with carefully selected tools, can help to significantly reduce machine production costs. As working center loading is another key to reduce production costs, especially if we consider the fact that pieces to be loaded may also be shaped, a number of useful informations are provided on the use and productivity of a multipurpose robot in automatically loading shaped pieces.
