Optical Measurement of Cross-curvature

The online measurement of cross-curvature of windshields is a unique possibility to monitor the thermal bending processes. The development of a new optical sensor allows the complete measurement of cross-curvature even during the annealing process. The complete profile can be checked against CAD-data. The provided trend information can be used for manual or automatic furnace control.
