Waste glass from the flat glass business
(architectural glass, automotive glass etc.) is
collected and recycled in a variety of ways
throughout Europe. This paper will give a brief
idea of conditions and restrictions in the re-use of
cullet for the float process and the elements of
flat glass recycling in Europe, including:
• the network
• the collection of waste glass
• the treatment of waste glass
• the re-use of recycled glass
