New Moiré-Fringe-method to Inspect Transmitted Distortion and Point-Defects in Sheet-Glass

The Moiré-interference is a well-known technique to measure transmitted distortion in glass. An improved Moiré-fringe technology is presented which allows to use this technique in the production line to measure ream and to detect point defects. It is also shown, that it allows the inspection on unwashed and also bent glass and therefor to inspect also automotive screen in the production line.
