Resin Laminating Technology as a Possibility of Safety Glass Low Investment Production

The production of safety glass based on the
method of potting liquid monomer-olygomer
composition with its further hardening has been
widely developed in Russia and former Soviet
Union republics for the latter 6-8 years. The main
reason of such development was the lack of
windshields which was set in the former republics
on the eve of the 90th. The basis for this
development was new achievements in the sphere
of olygomer chemistry as well as the possibility to
organize low investment production. Charac-teristics
of new adhesive systems provide the
production of laminated glass meeting the national
car triplex standard and small enterprises founded
on the basis of resin laminating technology possess
a certain flexibility for new products transition and
breadth of multiplies glass stock.
