Quality Assurance of Coated Glass

In the past years, over 200 million m² of coated glass were processed for technically demanding applications. The most important application areas are architectural glass, automotive glass and flat panel display technologies. The continuously increasing demand for these products requires higher production capacities as well as higher production speeds. Thus, the usual manual control of coating defects is not sufficient anymore.
