High Speed Grinding of Automotive Sidelite Glass

In the past, peripheral rotation speed of
grinders was around 30 m/sec. Today, most CNC
machinery have spindles allowing speeds from
40 to 50 m/sec.
Recently, tests have been performed at
speeds as high as 100 m/sec. Productivity and
edge quality have been considered at high speed
against standard speeds.
