Integration of Antennae and Sensors in Modern Automotive Glazing

Automotive glazing today has many functions. It provides vision, protects the passengers from the external environment, may have some intruder resistance properties, provides solar control and insulates against cold outside temperatures etc. Automotive glazing is also more and more used now as a carrier for sensors of electromagnetic signals. Different sensors and antennae are presented in this contribution and their interaction to other functions of the glass discussed.
