Future of Heatable Automotive Automotive Glazing Conductive Pastes

Heat grid designs and materials used on glass have remained basically unchanged for several decades. The newest trends in layout changes; as well as, the impact of the planned increase in automotive voltage on the layout and heat grid resistance are discussed in this paper.

Solutions for layout changes and increase of the specific resistance of the conductive pastes are shown. The technical data of the pastes; the aspects for processing conditions; and, the advantages and disadvantages of the solutions are also presented.
