Flush glazing has had a tremendous impact on the attachment, sealing and styling of fixed automotive windows. Technologies for this include encapsulation, bonded gaskets, extrusions including direct on glass extrusions, tape and direct bonding technologies. This paper will explore recent developments in sealing, attachment and styling of windows.
