GlassVision 4D – flexibility to measure all automotive glasses in a single gauge

The everlasting increase of different car models and types puts big pressure on the flexibility of the in-line measuring equipment of automotive glasses. Nowadays there are more and more different car models available to customers. Correspondingly the production series are getting shorter and faster. There is increasing need for flexible and multipurpose measuring equipments on the production lines.

GlassVision was developed to offer software based programmable in-line measuring system for automotive glass manufacturers. GlassVision can measure any size and shape of glasses based on the 3D CAD geometry from the OEM. GlassVision can be easily programmed for engineering changes or to completely new glass models by
reading in new CAD geometry.
