At AWJ, a highly innovative Medium-Sized glass processing company in Yorkshire, the „feeding“ of their CNCcentre BAVELLONI ALPA 323-4n has become quicker and noticeably more reliable with the CAM-DXF system. Together, software- and machinesupplier have established a precision CAD-transfer format which contains, in addition to the geometrical data, all necessary machine control information – available when necessary as well for multiple machine types in the AWJ processing chain. Vacuum cup positioning, automatic and exact preprocessing and end positioning, correct tool selection, etc., are now already implemented up-front by CAM-DXF– manual programming of machinery is a thing of the past.
