Are Maincontactors and Subcontractors Different Glaziers?

Within the total process between the
development and the delivery of buildings, one
has to focus on a wide scope of activities:
architectural design, technical constructions,
financing. Also the legal angles of the relationship
between principal and contractor have to be
added to those items. The glass and glazing part
of the total building contract is not an exception.
Nevertheless many of those activities are carried
out, although there is not a direct relationship
between the principal and the glazier. And the
representative of our branch will be called the
subcontractor. Because of all the side-effects of
this status the image of the glass and glazing
sector could be damaged. This fact should be
taken into account by architects, developers,
glass manufacturers and others involved in the
total creation of glass in buildings.
