Energy Efficient Windows and the European Commissions Action Plan

The European Commission has identified windows as one of the areas with big energy saving potential. The windows they consider are the most energy efficient available on the market. While the European glass trade still focus on U-values above 2.0 W/m2K, the consumers in most European countries will soon require 1.0 W/m2K.
