The direct or structural glazing offers a lot of advantages. For example to achieve better U-values, to save working hours and also the possibility to create new designs, by usage of the static effect from the glass. Due to the amount of advantages more and more manufacturers consider to produce these “bonded” windows. Therefore we see a clear trend towards bonded windows and this market transformation has consequences for the insulation glass manufacturer as well as for the window manufacturer.

Bystronic glass offers a solution for both window and insulating glass manufacturer. They can participate in this market transformation and enlarge their businesses. The key to this is a “Hybrid-Production-Line” which allows the insulating glass manufacturer to produce both: Insulating glass and bonded window sashes. With this added value the insulating glass manufacturer offers the window manufacturer a unique service. Now both can participate in this growing market of bonded windows.
