Specialised Applications for Cast in Place Laminating

Developments in the formulation and manufacture of traditional PVB interlayers have proved fierce competition to the established cast in place processes which use liquid polymer systems to create functional interlayers in situ. The presentation seeks to examine the current position, the significance and the opportunities of cast in place technology before going on to illustrate how the developments in the liquid polymer field have not stood still in creating new products for specialist applications particularly in the security field. Novel developments in laminating glass to stone and other substrates are also shown.
