Solar and Low Emissivity Functioning Multi-layer Coatings on Very Large Area Glass

Design parameters of silver-based multi-functional
coating systems are optimized
for moderate climates. New large area coating
materials useful for standard planar DC magnetron
sputtering machines are studied, e.g., WO3 and
Si are used as anti- reflective oxide and protective
layer for silver respectively. New optical coating
systems comprising four layers and seven layers
are designed for architectural applications.
