Flexible and performing upgrades of vacuum coaters

Bekaert developed a series of sputter hardware components for rotating cylindrical magnetron applications. These components enable flexible and performing upgrades of vacuum coaters in multiple application fields (e.g. large area glass coating and flat panel display). It is the scope of this paper to put the solution oriented approach into perspective of current evolutions in the coater business.
