This paper will update the situation as it relates to the work of CEN TC129; Glass in Building. If
finalised, details will be given as to requirements that will be covered by the European Commission
mandate for flat glass products. Followed by a look forward at the work of ISO TC160; Glass and Glazing
in Building. Particular attention will be paid to laminated and toughened glass; their specification,
definition and test methods.
