A meeting held in the early part of 1990, by five family members, from diverse fields in graphic design, textile printing, graphic printing and chemical industries identified a HUGE gap in the South African screen printing industry, particularly related to service and product. It was at this meeting that the concept of MARCHEMwas born. In it’s early development of various water based textile printing products and later in the development of plastisol technology, MARCHEM’s ultimate aim was to establish a variable free screen printing environment.
