The ambition of our work at the institute is the research and development of innovative processes for the utilisation of high performance electron beams and vacuum sealed plasmas for surface technology. Fraunhofer FEP consists of three major departments: - Electron beam technology with its departments electron beam processes and metal coating - Plasma technology with the departments glass coating, component coating, plastic coating and materials/chemical analysis, systems, especially for the development and construction of required equipment and plants.
