GPD 2009 - Once again a success!
GPD Focused on Solar Power and Glass Architecture

The Glass Performance Days (GPD), the biggest glass industry conference, brought together for June 12–15 industry decision-makers, experts and architects from over 60 countries. During those days, leading glass industry experts gave about 300 presentations. In addition, GPD guests were able to update their know-how in workshops, acquaint themselves with the industry’s most innovative solutions in the Glass Expo product exhibition and network in various social activities. This year’s GPD presented a new Architect Forum.

GPD has grown steadily and attracts world-class experts, such as top architects. American architect James Carpenter gave a presentation on the significance of light for building design. “Daylight is a public resource, the use of which should take into consideration both the users of the buildings and those moving in their surroundings. Glass is a material that offers superior possibilities for this,” said Carpenter.

More information about GPD 2009 will be released soon.
